September 2006 saw myself and three compadres compete in the Day Night Thriller 12 hour mountain bike race in Taupo.
The event started at 10 am and finished at 10 pm. As a team we completed 18 laps of the 8km track.
This was a very cool event to be apart of. We used one bike and only had bout of technical difficulties which was when Ben crached riding down the hill and broke the brake handle.
We were placed 48th in the competition and our team the Wooden Spooners one the best site, team name competition. For our win in this category we won free passes on the Huka Jet.
