Crikey

A wee ride around battersea park on christmas day resulted in a tear to the eye, when big mo received another puncture so is out of action once again.

For the year ahead, I have plans to do a couple of longish distance rides using the cycle network to maybe bath/birmingham or something like that, it will wait till the warming months and depending on weather possibly mid february holidays. I look forward to these long distance adventures. Stay tuned.

Big Mo Overhaul

The big mo got a once over yesterday, after getting a new tube for the front wheel, I gave all the chrome a mighty fine polish with some rust remover stuff to obviously get rid of the rust. It didn't quite get it all of, but a fair majority off. I then took big mo out for a cruise to the gym. I had forgotten what a beast it is and how many people look at it, in awe.

Here it is, with the style to match!!

Here is my new set of wheels which I am over the moon about!!!!!! Bring on Sunday cruises!!

It's not quite built for hills, in fact its practically hopeless anything above a 1 degree incline but who cares, its awesome for cruising the streets with.

I have just made the best purchase of the year so far. A BIG MO CHOPPER, stay tuned for pictures and a review of the beast.

Where has the mountain biking man been???????

Well here is the latest update. After recovering from round 2 of knee surgery Nov 07, I have relocated to London. I did not take my bike with me, but I have purchased a couple of bikes during my time in London and have had a few adventures via peddle power, check them out below.
They include the Swiss Alps, Paris, New Forest in England, and Richmond Park in London.

Biking Off Limits

Have recently had a bit of keyhole surgery on my knee to clean up a rugby injury. Because of this the bike has been holed up in the shed. It may be making an appearance on a road near you soon, but it won't bit hitting the wairarapa tracks ever again as am leaving the mighty Eketahuna on 22nd December, to move to Cave for 2 months and then its off overseas for a few years.
My last Wairarapa bike journey was a school ride where we rode out to school camp in the Putara Valley at the foot of the ranges. A nice 15km ride in true Eketahuna conditions, drizzle and blowing a gale.
